Blog 18: Our biggest month yet! DockCharged at the dragstrip and a big thanks for Tesla Sunglass Holders!

Hey Everyone,

DockCharged business and charger update. First of all thank you for opening this email and following along our entrepreneurial journey. Whether you signed up because you want to use DockCharged or you purchased one of our accessories, I just want to thank you for contributing. All revenue goes directly back into the company and fund more interesting R&D projects.

Our flagship product is the DockCharged Charger, which is designed for EV owners in apartments, condos, or old homes where they cannot get access to L2 charging easily or cost effectively.

Production update: We are working a lot on the production design, but nothing major to annouce.

DockCharged Beta: Part of growing a startup successfully is talking to users and getting as much feedback as possible. This feedback helps guide us to develop the production version of DockCharged. A while back, we followed a local Tesla club, Tesla Motors, to the drag strip.

We thought thought this would be a great way to showcase Dockcharged to new people and charge cars at the race track, Irwindale Speedway. They don't have EV chargers so we took this opportunity to charge some cars.

Take a look:

We got some extra beta testers out of our DockCharged Charger and it was great for our team to get this up and running.

Business update:
Last month was our high growth possible and it is because everyone of you involved that saw value in what we created. It was mostly due to our hidden sunglass holder and launching on our website as well as Amazon. If you have any feedback for me regarding my hidden sunglass holder, please let me know. I really appreciate it. I don't pay myself, but it covered all of our R&D expenses for the Charger project!

I will now be expanding the DockCharged Sunglass holders globally. First to Canada, then UK, and then Australia.

Check out my cool sunglass holder hat. Works better as a sunglass holder than a hat.

How can you help? If you guys know of any EV owners in apartments, condos, or old homes where they aren't getting enough range due to L1 charging or you have friends that would find value in our offerings, please feel free to connect me. We will also start to raise some outside capital to start growing the business very soon, so if you know of any great startup angel investors or venture capital firms in the pre-seed stage, let me know! I really appreciate you.

Thanks,

Doug Hoang
