Hello everyone,
Thank you for being early adopters of the Sunglass Holder. Your trust in us is greatly appreciated, and we're committed to keeping you informed every step of the way as we progress through the production of these sunglass holders. In this blog post, we will provide you with an in-depth look at our production process, the timeline, and other essential details.
The core of our production process relies on plastic injection molding, a widely used method in automotive manufacturing for crafting various components.
Here's a breakdown of the key phases and their respective durations:
-
Mold Creation: The initial phase involves the creation of molds, which takes approximately 30 days.
-
First Production Samples: Following mold completion, we allocate around 15 days to mold the first production samples.
-
Sample Approval: Once these samples are ready, they will be sent to me for approval.
-
Full-Scale Production: Upon approval, full-scale production kicks off, which typically spans another 15 days.
-
Sea Shipping: After production, we move on to sea shipping, a process that usually takes an additional 30 days.
-
Order Shipments: Finally, we begin shipping your orders.
Although the 30-day mold manufacturing phase may result in somewhat slower updates, we are committed to maintaining transparency. We'll work with our manufacturer to share pictures and videos of the tooling manufacturing process during this time.
In the meantime, we'll be focusing on perfecting the texture and color to seamlessly match the Tesla interior.
